Group Profile:

Each of our ADR Practice Group Members has practised for many years as litigators in a variety of specialized areas. Each member offers a client a “hands on” ability to analyze the risks associated with proceeding through litigation and the potential advantages of utilizing an alternate dispute mechanism to resolve that client’s particular dispute.

Areas of particular expertise include but are not limited to construction and condominium disputes (Patrick A. Williams, C.Arb. and mediator), construction arbitrations (Derek J. Mullan, Q.C., LL.B., B.A.Sc.- Engineering, C.Arb.), contract, negligence and insurance coverage matters (Neo J. Tuytel, mediator), and domestic relations, personal injury and disability insurance disputes (Diane M. Bell, mediator).

These highly skilled counsel have acted on behalf of clients within the context of various forms of alternate dispute resolution. In addition, as pre-eminent counsel in their respective fields, they are also frequently called upon by members of the legal community to act as mediators and arbitrators in complex civil litigation matters.
