We believe that it is important for you to receive regular and constructive feedback on your performance, so that you may continually develop your business and legal skills. At the same time, we value the objective feedback that our articled students can provide to us, as people new to the firm. To ensure that both student and firm have the opportunity to learn from each other, twice a year we conduct a formal evaluation where every lawyer with whom a student works has the opportunity to evaluate the student’s work performance. All of this information is distilled into a personal review between student and principal. This review is a two-way process. As a student with our firm, you have every opportunity to discuss your work experience, and seek guidance in areas you wish to improve. And of course, as the year progresses, the lawyers with whom you work provide on-going guidance and feedback.
