We provide a wide range of legal services in this area, from advising the client on obtaining a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment to defending clients charged with environmental offenses including the Federal Fisheries Act and the British Columbia Waste Management Act. We periodically advise clients on changes to environmental legislation. We also provide litigation support for either commencing an action where property has been contaminated by waste or hazardous materials or defending a company that has been sued for allegedly contaminating a property.
