Adam Dlin is a partner with the firm's Business Succession, Corporate & Commercial and Private Company Transactions practice groups. His practice includes the purchase and sale of private businesses, corporate restructurings/reorganizations (tax-driven and otherwise), franchise law and general corporate and commercial law such as incorporations, amalgamations and drafting of various contracts, for example, shareholders agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, agency agreements and restrictive covenants (non-competition and non-solicitation agreements).
Adam earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Great Distinction) from McGill University in 2001, where he majored in labour-management relations. At McGill, he was awarded the Laddie Millen Scholarship Award for outstanding achievement in the Labour-Management Relations program and the J.W. McConnell Award for high achievement in the Faculty of Management. Adam graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in 2003.
Adam worked with the National Hockey League Players' Association on salary arbitration matters and articled with a large Toronto law firm before joining Clark Wilson LLP. He was called to both the British Columbia and Ontario Bars in 2005.
