Douglas Howard is a senior partner of the firm and a member of the Wealth Preservation and Tax & Estate Planning Groups.

Mr. Howard's extensive practice encompasses developing and implementing effective estate plans for his clients, including the preparation of tax-planned Wills, Trusts, Representation Agreements and Powers of Attorney. His clients include executors and trustees and he provides a wide variety of services incidental to estate planning, including estate administration, executors' and trustees' rights and duties, committeeships, insurance, and registered retirement plans.

Mr. Howard is a former director and officer of a number of community organizations, including the YWCA/YMCA, BC Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Western Canada Theatre Company. He continues to hold managerial positions with and is a former managing partner of Clark Wilson. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in Economics in 1963 and Law in 1966. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1967.
