Seva Batkin is an associate with the firm's Business Litigation, Intellectual Property and Estate & Trust Litigation Groups. His multi-faceted legal experience covers many areas of business and intellectual property litigation, including trademarks, patents, law of confidential information and trade secrets, shareholder disputes and enforcement of judgments. Seva has represented clients before the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of British Columbia.

Prior to joining Clark Wilson, Seva clerked for the British Columbia Supreme Court. He studied law at the University of British Columbia, receiving several academic scholarships and earning his Bachelor of Laws degree in 2007. While studying law, Seva operated a successful legal research business.

Prior to commencing his legal studies, Seva was a Telecommunications Engineer with a focus on Research & Development and Project Management. He earned his Bachelor of Communications Engineering degree, with high distinction, from Carleton University. Seva speaks, reads and writes Russian fluently. He was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2008.
