Satinder Sidhu is an associate with the firm's Construction & Procurement and Insurance Groups.
Satinder represents clients in construction related matters, including contract disputes, builders lien claims, construction delay and deficiency claims, surety bond claims, insurance coverage and strata property disputes. She also represents clients in insurance related matters such as defence of personal injury claims, including orthopedic injuries, traumatic brain injuries and psychological disorders, and property claims, including fire loss and environmental contamination.
Satinder appears as counsel in all levels of court and has extensive experience representing clients in mediation. She regularly writes and speaks on builders lien matters, as well as other construction and insurance related topics.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 2000, and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2003, both from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the Bar of British Columbia in May 2004.

Assisting clients with deficiency claims, including mechanical, electrical, roofing, building code and building envelope related deficiencies, and working with experts and engineers in various fields regarding deficiency claims.
Assisting clients with delay, productivity and acceleration claims.
Assisting clients with construction contract disputes, including standard form Canadian construction contracts.

Insurance Law
Assisting insurance companies with the defence of their insureds' claims, including construction developers and trades, product manufacturers and distributors, motor vehicle owners and drivers, and property owners, landlords and tenants.
Defending complex bodily injury claims, including traumatic brain injury, and claims involving technical subject matters, including heavy machinery and building envelope related issues.
Assisting insureds on multi-party product liability and construction claims.
Providing insurance coverage advice for commercial general liability and homeowners policies, as well as acting for insurers in coverage disputes.
Prosecuting subrogated claims on behalf of insurance companies, including warranty program recovery claims.
