Angela Blake is an associate with the firm's Corporate Finance & Securities, Mining and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups.

Angela advises both public and private companies in a wide range of sectors, with a particular emphasis on companies engaged in the resource and mining sector with projects located in North America and internationally. She has extensive transactional experience related to private placement financings, prospectus offerings, debt offerings, initial public offerings and exchange listings, reverse takeovers, business acquisitions, asset and share purchases, corporate reorganizations and qualifying transactions.

She provides clients with advice related to various mining-related agreements, including property option agreements, royalty agreements and joint venture agreements, and routinely assists clients with the review of technical reports for compliance with National Instrument 43-101.

Angela also advises Canadian and U.S. public companies with respect to corporate governance matters, including governance policies for boards of directors, regulatory compliance, continuous disclosure requirements, and the use of social media.

Angela received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria and obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2008.
