Amy Mortimore is a partner of the firm and a member of the Estate and Trust Litigation, Wealth Preservation and Construction & Procurement Groups. As such she has experience in a broad range of estate and trust litigation, including wills variation claims, accountings, undue influence and incapacity claims, and committeeship applications. She also has significant experience in builders liens, general construction matters, commercial litigation, and commercial landlord and tenant disputes.

Amy has appeared in all levels of Court in British Columbia, as well as in front of various administrative tribunals. She also has training and experience in mediation.

Amy is a contributing author to numerous editions of three texts published by the Continuing Legal Education Society: British Columbia Estate Planning and Wealth Preservation, British Columbia Probate and Estate Administration Practice Manual, and the builders lien portion of Annual Practice Updates. She is a frequent speaker at numerous CLE and industry seminars on topics ranging from trusts to wills variation claims to builders liens and change orders.

Amy obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of British Columbia in 1993 and her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Victoria in 1997. She was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1998.
