Profile Amy Mortimore is an associate at Clark Wilson LLP, and a member of its Estate Litigation and Construction Law Practice Groups. She also practices general commercial litigation and commercial landlord and tenant disputes. Amy has been a member of Clark Wilson LLP′s Litigation Department since 2000. Prior to that, she worked at a law firm in Langley, British Columbia. Amy has appeared in all levels of Court in British Columbia, as well as in front of various administrative tribunals. She also has training and experience in mediation. Amy obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of British Columbia in 1993, her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1997 from the University of Victoria, and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1998. Amy is the author of the Builders Lien portion of Continuing Legal Education′s 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 Annual Practice Updates. She is co-creator of Clark Wilson LLP′s Builders Lien FAQs collection. Amy is also a co-contributor to CLE′s text, British Columbia Estate Planning and Wealth Preservation, specifically in the chapter addressing claims pursuant to the Wills Variation Act, for the years 2002 to 2008. Additionally, she is a contributing author to the 2008 update of the CLE text, British Columbia Probate and Estate Administration Practice Manual.
