Representative Work Cam’s practice focuses on Canadian, U.S., and cross-border corporate finance, securities, transactional and continuous disclosure requirements. He has advised public and private companies in regards to initial public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, arrangements, reverse-take-overs, continuations, spin-offs, equity and convertible debt financings, exchange listings and going dark transactions. Additionally, Cam has assisted clients with the formation of Capital Pool Companies and the completion of Qualifying Transactions in Canada and PIPE transactions (private investment in public entities) in the U.S. Cam advises on such matters with respect to companies listed on the TSX and TSX Venture Exchange in Canada and the OTC Bulletin Board, Amex and Nasdaq in the U.S. Profile Cam McTavish is an associate with Clark Wilson LLP and a member of the firm’s Corporate Finance / Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Groups. Cam received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Victoria in 1998. He attended the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law for his first year of law school before transferring to the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law. Cam obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2003. He also completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2003. While studying law at the University of Manitoba, Cam was a member of the Dean’s List and received three D.A. Thompson Q.C. Prizes for high standing in contracts, torts and property law.
