Who are we Looking for?
Like you, we're looking for a good fit. We want hard working, ambitious students who have proven academic strength and are genuinely enthusiastic about the practice of law. When we review your application, we'll look for evidence that you are a well-rounded person who possesses a wide range of skills and ambitions, and who has a demonstrated record of achievement (academic and otherwise).
We also look for people who are willing to lend a hand when the practice is busy, and to share a laugh when the day is through.
The typical hiring process begins with a first review of resumes, in which we evaluate applicants on the objective criteria of academic achievement, a diversity of skills and outside interests, work experience and community involvement.
Those that make it through our "first cut" will be invited to the firm for an interview. The interview is where we look for the harder-to-define qualities that will be an integral part of a student’s success. It allows us to get a sense of your overall personality and to gauge the likelihood of a good fit with the firm. This process also gives you an opportunity to meet us and determine if this is where you’d like to be.
