Corporate Finance and Securities

Kari Richardson joined Clark Wilson LLP as a member of the firm’s Corporate Finance and Securities Department in 2005. Ms. Richardson advises Canadian and U.S. listed public companies on securities regulatory filings, stock exchange compliance, corporate and commercial matters.

Ms. Richardson was called to the Bar of New Brunswick in 1997 and worked as a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade for six years. Her work at Foreign Affairs included a posting at the Canadian High commission in Cameroon as the Political and Economic Programme Manager and Vice Consul. Ms. Richardson speaks, reads, and writes French fluently. Ms. Richardson’s corporate law background includes experience with securities and corporate finance for U.S. public companies.

Ms. Richardson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992 from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia in 1996. She was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2005.
