Development of several major strata titled mixed use developments in Vancouver, BC involving hotel, residential, retail and office components.

Acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties, including shopping centres, hotels, restaurants and residential towers.

Re-zonings, subdivisions, consolidations, and building and development permit approvals for developers of commercial real estate.

Negotiation and drafting of purchase agreements and agreements intended to be registered against title to commercial properties, including easements, statutory rights of way, and covenants.

Preparation of reports on title, including zoning issues and other due diligence matters.

Preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial leases.

Advice on general corporate commercial matters, including asset and share purchases and corporate reorganizations of small businesses.

Lisa Hobman is an associate with Clark Wilson LLP and a member of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Practice Group.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts at Simon Fraser University and then continued her studies at Dalhousie University, where she obtained her law degree in 2003. She returned to Vancouver to complete her articles with Clark Wilson LLP. Lisa was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2004.
