M. Douglas Howard has broad-based experience in developing and implementing tax effective estate plans for his clients. His practice encompasses a wide variety of Wills, Trusts and Estate services, including:

• Committeeships
• Estate Administration
• Executor’s rights, duties and compensation
• Estate issues in connection with RRSP and RRIF

Mr. Howard graduated from the University of British Columbia in Economics in 1963 and Law in 1966. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1967, and has practiced as a partner with Clark Wilson LLP since 1984.

He is a former director and officer of a number of community organizations, including the YWCA/YMCA, BC Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Western Canada Theatre Company.
