Strata Property, Construction and Alternate Dispute Resolution. Profile Pat Williams is a partner of Clark Wilson LLP, the Chair of the Strata Property Group and a member of its Alternate Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Mr. Williams is a Chartered Arbitrator and a qualified mediator who has arbitrated and mediated numerous personal injury, condominium and construction disputes. He received his initial training through the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia and has attended several mediation and arbitration courses through the British Columbia Arbitration and Mediation Institute. Indeed, since 1995, Mr. Williams has conducted such courses for BCAMI. Mr. Williams has published many articles regarding the use and benefit of arbitration and mediation as an alternative to court. He is a frequent guest instructor for the mediation component of the Professional Legal Training Course required to be taken by all articled students in British Columbia. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1973 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1974, from The University of British Columbia.
