Profile Shauna Towriss is an associate with Clark Wilson LLP's Insolvency & Restructuring, Corporate & Commercial and Private Company Transaction Practice Groups. Shauna received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Philosophy from Simon Fraser University in 2001 and obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2005. From 2005-2006, Shauna was employed as a Judicial Law Clerk at the BC Court of Appeal, assisting judges with legal research both before and after a case was heard. In February 2006, Shauna was awarded the First Annual Lloyd Houlden Research Fellowship from the Canadian Insolvency Foundation and was honoured to be presented with the fellowship by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. Shauna was employed with Clark Wilson as a summer articled student in 2004 and she returned to Clark Wilson for her full articles in July 2006. Shauna was called to the Bar of British Columbia in November 2006.
