Representative Work Shauna's practice involves assisting clients in the areas of real estate acquisitions, dispositions and financing, commercial real estate development and assisting various private entities to raise equity through offering memoranda in limited partnership and trust structures for a variety of investment and development projects. Shauna provides advice to clients on an ongoing basis with respect to corporate structuring, incorporations and reorganization and assists with the negotiation and drafting of a wide variety of corporate agreements. Profile Shauna Towriss is an associate with Clark Wilson LLP's Commercial Real Estate, Corporate & Commercial, Insolvency & Restructuring, Private Company Transaction and Energy & Natural Resources Practice Groups. Shauna received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Philosophy from Simon Fraser University in 2001 and obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2005. From 2005-2006, Shauna was employed as a Judicial Law Clerk at the BC Court of Appeal, assisting judges with legal research both before and after a case was heard. In February 2006, Shauna was awarded the First Annual Lloyd Houlden Research Fellowship from the Canadian Insolvency Foundation and was honoured to be presented with the fellowship by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. Shauna was employed with Clark Wilson as a summer articled student in 2004 and she returned to Clark Wilson for her full articles in July 2006. Shauna was called to the Bar of British Columbia in November 2006.
