Representative Work On an ongoing basis, Adam advises business owners with corporate structuring, incorporations, amalgamations and reorganizations. He also assists with the negotiation and drafting of a variety of agreements, including shareholders agreements, subscription agreements, restrictive covenants (non-competition agreements) and distribution agreements. Profile Adam Dlin is an associate with Clark Wilson LLP who practices in the Business Law group, with an emphasis on Corporate & Commercial Law and Mergers & Acquisitions. Adam earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Great Distinction) from McGill University in 2001, where he majored in labour-management relations. Prior to and during law school, he worked for the National Hockey League Players’ Association on primarily salary arbitration matters. Adam graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in 2003. While at McGill University, Adam was awarded the Laddie Millen Scholarship Award for outstanding achievement in the Labour-Management Relations program of the Faculty of Management and the J.W. McConnell Award for high achievement and upon recommendation of the Faculty of Management. Adam summered and articled with a large Toronto law firm before returning to his hometown of Vancouver and was called to both the British Columbia and Ontario Bars in 2005.
