- Raman is the past Chair of the CBA Wills & Trusts Vancouver subsection, and she contributes to the CLEBC’s Estate Planning and Wealth Preservation manual, the BC Probate and Estate Administration Practice manual and the Canadian Association of Gift Planner’s Executors’ Guide. Raman is a strong asset for private individuals, financial institutions and charities to ensure that estate matters are resolved in the most financially responsible manner.
- Raman is also the past Chair of the CBA, BC Insurance subsection, a member of the Insurance Bureau of Canada P&C Decision Panel and presents regularly to the Insurance Institute of British Columbia. Raman is an authoritative voice in the field and educates other industry leaders and practitioners on emerging issues.

- Since a young age, Raman has volunteered with various charitable organizations around the world—an ethic that she inherited from her mother. She has worked with many impactful charities, such as:
