She handles searching and clearing trade-marks; drafting, filing and prosecuting trade-mark applications and initiating opposition and expungement proceedings.

Karen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of British Columbia in 1985, her Legal Assistant Certificate from Capilano College in 1994 and participated in McGill University’s “Understanding Trade-marks – An Introductory Course, 2004”.
