Mental Health Awareness Month 2024

Clement Orbasido

In honour of Mental Health Awareness Month, we were thrilled to host an insightful Lunch and Learn session with Julia Kaisla, the current Executive Director at the Community Action Initiative where she touched upon the importance of Mental Health in the Workplace. With over 14 years of experience leading organizations in the mental health nonprofit sector, Julia provided a robust discussion of mental well-being at work.

We are also excited to announce the launch of our new Wellness Room at the firm! This dedicated space was designed with different meanings of wellness in mind such as using the room to access remote counseling sessions privately, a calm space for a mental health break or prayer, and a private space for new parents as some examples.

At Clark Wilson, we are committed to supporting the mental health of our firm members and creating a positive work culture. We strive to continue to prioritize our employee’s well-being and support each other on this journey.
