I had a fantastic summer experience at Clark Wilson largely due to my summer student colleagues and the opportunity for mentorship from all staff at the firm. No question was too simple or too complicated to approach an associate or a partner with, and I was made to feel like I was surrounded by people who were invested in my learning. With the wide variety of work I was exposed to, my legal research and writing skills grew immensely and I look forward to applying these skills to longer term projects during my articles next year. My only complaint is that I was not able to choose with finality what I would like my future area of practice to be, as I found the work to be fascinating and supported within every practice group.
