Neil Melliship was quoted in an article in the leading online publication World Trademark Review on the effects of Bill C-31, which will result in the most significant changes to Canada’s Trade-Marks Act since the 1950s. The proposed changes have proved controversial since they were announced this past March. In the article, Neil, together with several other leading Canadian practitioners, summarizes some of the positive aspects of Bill C-31.
