Dan has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and represents clients through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

David Bowden

David Bowden

Intellectual Property | Technology Transactions and Emerging Company Services

David practices intellectual property law, with a focus on copyrights, trademarks, and domain names. He represents clients in disputes before the Federal Court of Canada, the BC Supreme Court, the Ontario Superior Court, and in arbitrations. He regularly appears before the Trademarks Opposition Board in respect of trademark oppositions and cancellations, and has assisted numerous clients in securing squatted domain names under ICANN’s UDRP (.com) and CIRA’s CDRP (.ca) processes. David also assists clients in obtaining and maintaining trademark Registrations. He is co-author of Hughes on Trademarks, a leading text on Canadian trademark law.

Sunny Chiu

Sunny’s practice focuses on resolving money disputes for his clients, including in estates and trusts, family law, and fraud and asset recovery matters. He has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and represents clients through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Sunny is a contributing author of British Columbia Estate Litigation, a trusted reference for practitioners. Sunny can also fluently advise clients in Cantonese and Mandarin. In addition to his practice, Sunny also serves the community as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Richmond Community Foundation.
