While his priority is to negotiate a solution outside the courtroom, James understands family conflicts can arrive to a point where litigation is necessary. When this occurs, he works tenaciously for our clients. His successful experience in appellate law reinforces his capability as a strong advocate who presents a compelling argument.

A growing aspect of James’ legal practice are relocation cases. The idea of a parent moving away can be emotionally exhausting for all parties. Custody issues, spousal support and what’s in the best interests of children all come to the forefront. Our clients appreciate James for his ability to efficiently help them navigate these sensitive nuances.

When James was growing up, his father served in the military and his family lived in many cities. This allowed him to meet families of all sizes and structures. He applies these experiences to his legal practice, working closely with our clients so they can move forward from these disputes with an effective new structure in place.
