As our Chief Operating Officer, Synthia works closely with our executive committee and partnership to deliver on both the firm’s short and long-term strategic plans across the team. Synthia is a highly trusted leader, known for grounding the firm’s day-to-day decisions in our core values and optimizing organizational processes to ensure efficiency. Synthia’s leadership is characterized by a strategic vision and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Before joining Clark Wilson in 2021, Synthia demonstrated exceptional leadership across a wide variety of industries, including real estate, banking, distribution and logistics, financial audit and controls, as well as IT consulting. Drawing from a diverse portfolio and utilizing the experience paired with the many skills honed throughout a career, Synthia brings a fresh perspective to the firm on new ways to add value and grow the organization.

Over the course of a distinguished career, Synthia has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Executives in 2021 by Globe & Mail’s Report on Business magazine and received the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s Wendy McDonald Diversity Champion Award in 2020. These accolades are a testament to Synthia’s impactful leadership and dedication to excellence.

Synthia is an active member of the Vancouver Board of Trade’s Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Advisory Committee and sits on the Board of Directors for MOSIAC (the Multi-lingual Orientation Service Association for Immigrant Communities), having volunteered as a career mentor for newcomers to Canada through their Workplace Connections program for over five years. Recently she was appointed to the Vancouver Community College Board of Governors.
